Vegetable Production and Developing Value Added Chain Project

The invitation for Bids follows a General Loan Agreement regarding the utilization of 10.2 million Euro between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of Poland and the Procurement Law of Mongolia.

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia has received a loan from the Government of Poland toward the financing projects in the field of agriculture sector and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Vegetable production and developing value added chain project.

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Vegetable production and developing value added chain project.

Lot 2 : Supplying of vegetable technique, introducing integrated technology

1. 4WD tractor /50hp/                                            - 60 pieces
2. Rotary tiller                                                       - 60  pieces
3. Seeder of vegetable                                          - 60  pieces
4. Sprayers /12m/                                                  - 60 pieces
5. Carrot harvester /1row/                                      - 4 pieces
6. Tractor /82hp/                                                   - 30 pieces                   
7. Reversible ploughs                                           - 30 pieces
8. Potato planter                                                   - 30 pieces
9. Potato ridger                                                     - 30 pieces
10. Potato digger                                                    - 30 pieces
11. Small sized techniques                                      - More than 42 sets

The project will supply a total of 132 tractors such as 42 tractors with 35 horsepower, 60 tractors with 50 horsepower, 30 tractors with 82 horsepower and 330 technical equipment such as potato and vegetable ploughs, seeders, ridger, potato, vegetable harvesters, plant protection spraying machines and combines.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) a procedure specified in the Procurement Law of Mongolia and Procurement under the General Loan Agreement regarding the utilization of 3.2 million euro between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of Poland.

Qualifications requirements include:

• Technical – Bidder must have:

1. At least three year of relevant work experience in supplying vegetable techniques.
2. Financial, technical and human resource capacity
